Mellieħa Local Council & Community Pay Respects To Oliwia Wojnowska

The Mellieħa Local Council, along with mayor Gabriel Micallef, convened in Ċirkewwa to pay tribute to the late 13 year old Oliwia Wojnowska.
Oliwia was tragically swept out to sea last week and was found around 2 days later after an intense search and rescue operation.
The Mellieħa local council attended the vigil and wreath laying ceremony, which took place after a mass in Sliema.
Mayor Micallef was present alongside officials on behalf of the entire community. ‘We thank our public forces, for the continuous support provided to Oliwia’s relatives during this very difficult time.’
