Mass Held At St John’s Co-Cathedral Ahead Of Parliament’s Reopening

A mass was held this morning ahead of the reopening of the Maltese parliament.
Held at St John’s Co-Cathedral and led by Auxiliary Bishop Joseph Galea-Curmi, Prime Minister Robert Abela, Opposition Leader Alex Borg and all the elected officials were in attendance.
This will be followed by the official reopening of the parliament, as well as the election of a Speaker and Deputy Speaker.
The government has put forth Camelo Abela for this position, whereas the Nationalist Party has nominated former leader Bernard Grech.
