Martina Bonello Set To Represent Malta In International Chef Competition

Martina Bonello, sous chef at Malta’s beloved Risette, is set to represent Malta on the international stage at the prestigious S.Pellegrino Young Chef Competition.

The global competition aims to discover and support the next generation of culinary talent, bringing together some of the world’s most promising young chefs and giving them an opportunity to showcase their creativity, technical ability and passion for food.

Bonello is the only Maltese chef taking part in this year’s edition, putting Malta’s emerging culinary talent in the international spotlight.

Her participation marks an important milestone in her career, while also highlighting the growing pool of young talent within Malta’s culinary scene.

Risette said the restaurant remains committed to nurturing young talent, both locally and internationally, and expressed its support for Bonello as she takes on the global competition.
