Marsaskala Floods As Storm Harry Hits Malta

Marsaskala has suffered from some intense flooding as Storm Harry hits the Maltese islands.

Photos shared to social media by Lisa Aquilina and Christine Chetcuti show vehicles wading through water as it took over the quay area, covering the street.

Residents are being urged to avoid seaside areas and to stay home unless absolutely necessary as the storm continues to persist.

Civil Protection Malta are also working tirelessly to ensure safety, urging citizens to only call 112 when its a genuine emergency to keep lines open.
