Marsa Victim Identified As Maltese 47-Year-Old Woman From St Paul's Bay

A 47-year-old woman has been found dead in a field off Triq is-Salib tal-Marsa in Marsa.
Police said the discovery was made at around 10.20am on Wednesday, after officers on foot patrol were approached by a person who reported that a woman was allegedly lying lifeless in a nearby field.
The officers immediately went to the scene, where the report was confirmed. Additional police officers were called to the area and investigations began.
The victim was later identified as a 47-year-old Maltese woman who was resident in St Paul’s Bay.
Magistrate Dr Joe Mifsud LL.D. was informed of the case and opened a magisterial inquiry, assisted by several experts.
Police investigations into the cause of death are still ongoing.
