Mark Your Calendars: Malta Daily’s Big Picnic Party Is Back On 10th October...And This Time It’s Part Of ‘Nitkellem’

Mark your calendars: Malta Daily’s Big Picnic Party is back on Saturday 10th October.
After the overwhelming response to its debut season last winter, The Big Picnic Party is returning for another feel-good day of music, community and outdoor living.

What started as a fresh new concept quickly became one of Malta Daily’s most-loved gatherings, bringing people together in a relaxed outdoor setting — and this time, it’s coming back as part of something even bigger.
The next Big Picnic Party will form part of ‘Nitkellem’, an initiative led by Dr Lydia Abela, wife of the Prime Minister, together with the Government of Malta, focused on mental health, wellbeing and quality of life.

Taking place at the National Park in Ta’ Qali, the event will bring together wellness, movement, community and music in one full day.
But this isn’t just any Big Picnic Party.
Before the music starts, the morning will kick off with a full programme of wellness activities, including 5km and 10km runs in collaboration with Sunday Run Club, yoga led by Sasha Vella, Pilates with Soma Studios and a breathwork session in collaboration with athlete Neil Agius.
Once the morning activities wrap up, Malta Daily’s Big Picnic Party takes over, bringing together music, people and the laid-back outdoor atmosphere that made the original events such a hit.
Tickets for the ‘Nitkellem’ activities are available through ShowsHappening, with proceeds from the activities going towards work within the mental health sector, particularly initiatives focused on adolescents.

So grab your picnic blankets, bring your people and save the date.
