Manuel Ciantar Identified As Victim Of Truck That Fell 2 Storeys

A man who tragically lost his life after a truck overturned and fell around two storeys into a construction site in Mġarr has been identified as 50-year-old Manuel Ciantar from Rabat.
The incident occurred early on Tuesday afternoon in the Dwejra area of Mġarr.
Police believe the truck driven by Manuel suffered a mechanical failure while travelling downhill, possibly due to a brake fault, which caused it to veer off the road and plunge into the site below.
A medical team and Civil Protection officers arrived to provide assistance, but Manuel was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigations are still ongoing. Condolences to all loved ones. Rest in peace Manuel.
