Man Dies At Victoria Bus Terminal After Allegedly Choking

According to news reports, a 41-year-old man lost his life on Sunday afternoon at the Victoria bus terminus in Gozo, reportedly after suffering from asphyxiation.
Times of Malta reported that the situation occurred around 12:30 p.m., when first responders where called after the man allegedly collapsed.
According to police, the victim had been waiting at the bus stop and had been eating shortly before he suddenly fell ill.
Paramedics reportedly provided medical assistance on site before transferring him to Gozo General Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
