Man Arrested After Found In Possession Of Suspected Cannabis

A 28 year old man resident of Raħal Ġdid has been arrested by police in Ġnien Toni Bezzina in relation to drug possession.
Yesterday, at around 1030hrs, police were conducting their routine inspections when they stopped the man in question.
A search on his person yielded a paper bag which was filled with two large sealed packages of drugs suspected to be cannabis buds.
Another search in his residence in Triq Kordin, Raħal Ġdidi yielded more drugs suspected to be cannabis, with a total of around half a kilo, along with other objects related to drugs.
He is expected to be arraigned in court in the coming days.
