Maltese Youth Leave Parent’s House At Average 29 Years Old

According to data issued by Eurostat, Maltese young people left their parents’ house at an average age of 29 in 2024.
The EU average was recorded at 26.2 years in the same year, with Croatia having the highest average age at 31.3 years.
This was followed by Slovakia and Greece at 30.9 and 30.7 respectively. Meanwhile, Finland registered the lowest average age at just 21.4 years.
This was followed by Denmark and Sweden at 21.7 and 21.9 years old.
