Maltese Tristan Fenech Completes International Maritime Officers Course In Collaboration With United States Coast Guard

The Armed Forces of Malta expressed their delight in Lieutenant Tristan Fenech, who has successfully completed the International Maritime Officers Course (IMOC), a 12-week programme focused on enhancing operational effectiveness, leadership, and international cooperation in the maritime domain.

The programme was delivered in collaboration with the United States Coast Guard, providing valuable insight into the planning, coordination, and execution of multi-domain maritime operations. Training covered key areas including Search and Rescue (SAR), Maritime Law Enforcement, Marine Safety & Environmental Response, Crisis Management, the Incident Command System (ICS), as well as Leadership & Management.

The Armed Forces of Malta remarked that they will remain committed to investing in professional development and strengthening international partnerships for a safer maritime future.
