‘THE DAY I BROUGHT IRA LOSCO TO NANNA’S HOUSE’: LORELLA CASTILLO

Maltese photographer Lorella Castillo recently collaborated with local music icon Ira Losco for a distinctive photo shoot set in an intimate and unexpected location, her nanna and nannu’s home.

Adding a heartwarming twist to the session, Losco was not the sole star in front of the lens. Castillo’s grandparents, Rose and Richard, featured alongside the singer in each carefully curated shot, bringing an authentic and touching dynamic to the series.

Sharing moments from the shoot on Instagram, Lorella highlighted three of her favourite images, offering followers insight into the stories behind them.

She described the charming interactions between Losco and her slightly starstruck grandparents, capturing a blend of excitement, warmth and genuine connection.

Reflecting on the experience, Castillo wrote: “What started as an experiment became the cutest crossover ever. Glamour met tradition. Stardom met simplicity. And somehow, between house blessings, simmering pots, and bedtime shenanigans it felt perfectly normal.”
