Maltese Singer Claudia Faniello Celebrates Her New Qualification As A Gestalt Psychotherapist

Maltese singer Claudia Faniello has announced a significant new milestone in her personal and professional journey, revealing that she has officially qualified as a Gestalt psychotherapist.

Reflecting on this achievement, Faniello described her life as “the swing of life” a constant movement between shadow and light. “For as long as I can remember, that’s what it has felt like. Pushed back into the shadows, only to use that momentum to swing forward into the light. Today, that light feels brighter than ever,” she shared.

Faniello explains that music served as her first form of therapy, but it was her actual therapist who became her first true beacon of light. “She didn’t just listen; she made me feel seen and handed me the tools to start believing in myself. She sparked a passion for self-discovery and made me want to one day be that light for someone else.”

Her master’s degree, she says, belongs to every version of herself along the way “the kid who had to grow up too fast, the teenager who found comfort in a song, and the adult who was broken down and chose to rebuild.”

She concldued, "The swing goes forward. And now, I’m ready to sit with others, to help them find their own rhythm, and to be a light in their darkness."
