Maltese People Prefer Unlimited Holidays Over Free Food

The people have spoken, and it seems the dream of never-ending time off beats an endless supply of free food.

In a recent Malta Daily Instagram poll, followers were asked to choose between unlimited holidays and free food forever. The result wasn't even close.

A whopping 76% of voters (1,455 votes) chose unlimited holidays, while just 24% (463 votes) opted for free food for life.

The poll suggests that, for many Maltese, escaping the daily grind is more tempting than never having to pay for a pastizz, pizza, or plate of pasta ever again.

Whether it's more time to travel, relax by the sea, or simply avoid the Monday morning alarm, unlimited holidays clearly struck a chord with voters.

Sorry, free food fans, it looks like the Maltese would rather be on permanent vacation than enjoy a lifetime of complimentary meals.
