Maltese Officer Cadets Complete Intense Training At Royal Air Force Academy

Officer cadets Spagnol Densten and Calleja Melanie recently completed the Modular Initial Officer Training (MIOT) Course at the Royal Air Force Academy in Cranwell, United Kingdom.

Both the cadets successfully passed their officership course, ‘meeting and exceeding all required hallmarks throughout the programme.’

‘Their achievement reflects a strong commitment to leadership, discipline and professional excellence.’

‘In addition, Officer Cadet Calleja was awarded the Warrant Officer Bill Torrance Trophy in recognition of her outstanding performance in Physical Fitness, a commendation that highlights exceptional determination, resilience, and dedication.’

‘Both officers will now commence their careers within the Armed Forces of Malta, carrying forward the shared values aligned with the Royal Air Force’s RISE philosophy, which are: Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence.’

‘Their training at Cranwell has not only strengthened their leadership foundations but has also reinforced the enduring professional ties between the Armed Forces of Malta and the Royal Air Force.’
