Maltese Inspector Elisia Scicluna Graduates From FBI National Academy In Virgina, USA

Malta Police Force Inspector Elisha Scicluna has just graduated from the prestigious FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virgina, USA.

Inspector Scicluna was among 265 law enforcement officers who successfully completed the intensive ten week programme.

There, she, alongside the other officers, achieved excellent results across a wide range of disciplines, including leadership, crime analysis, crisis negotiation and physical fitness.

‘This experience has given me a greater appreciation of the different approaches to policing adopted internationally, while also highlighting areas in which we, as the Malta Police Force, can continue to improve and develop’, said Scicluna.

‘At the same time, it made me realise how much we are already doing in Malta that is aligned with international practice. Despite being a relatively small country and police organisation, we use many of the same tools, methodologies and approaches employed by law enforcement agencies worldwide.’
