Maltese Influencers Visit European Parliament For Content Creator Summit 2025

A dynamic group of Maltese influencers and media personalities are representing Malta at the European Parliament’s Content Creators Summit 2025, taking place in Brussels from the 10th of November until the 13th.

The Summit brings together digital creators from across Europe to explore how social media can strengthen democracy, creativity, and public engagement.

Hosted at the European Parliament’s Visitors’ Centre, the event features breakout sessions on topics such as disinformation, content management, youth participation, and digital rights, as well as meetings with MEPs and President Roberta Metsola.

Representing Malta are Trudy Kerr, journalist and host of The She Word podcast; Raisa Brincat Newell, lifestyle and TV personality; Dorianne Mamo, TV host; Jais Zammit, media producer and host; Daniela Farrugia, active lifestyle influencer; Emma Tranter, photographer and tour manager; Gail Baldacchino, lifestyle and travel creator; Demaris Agius, family and lifestyle blogger; and musicians Kurt Calleja and Kevin Paul Calleja.

Through workshops, networking sessions, and creative collaborations, Malta’s delegation will share their experiences in digital storytelling while contributing to conversations about responsible online influence and the future of European communication.
