Second Chance Horse Rescue shared a wholesome video of Smokey enjoying his first ever run in green fields in the United Kingdom.
A Maltese Thoroughbred, Smokey has never experienced this kind of open air freedom, and is now getting the chance to stretch his legs across open fields and ‘simply being allowed to be a horse.’
‘Being born and raised in Malta he had also never faced a journey anywhere near as long as the trip from Malta to the UK. We thought he would be one of the horses that struggled the most yet he surprised everyone by being one of the calmest and best-behaved horses on the entire journey till we dropped him off home.
