Maltese Fishers Urged To Avoid Hazardous Russian Tanker

Local authorities are urging local fishers to avoid the Russian tanker which was recently damaged after a suspected missile attack between Malta and Libya.
The gas tanker was reportedly attacked by enemy fire earlier this month, with it carrying around 700 metric tons of fuel and LNG.
The tanker is currently abandoned and is drifting along to currents in the vicinity of Malta. ‘In coordination with the Armed Forces of Malta’, the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture said, ‘we are providing the position of the tanker for fishers to know.’
The tanker was last located (March 16th at 7:30aM) at Latitude 35°08′N, Longitude 13°43′E.
