Maltese Elvis Josuel Grech Honoured With Star At Graceland Gates

Maltese artist Josuel Grech has described a milestone moment in his career after being honoured at the Parkes Elvis Festival in Australia.

On the day, Grech unveiled a star bearing his name at the Graceland Gates in Parkes, recognising him as the Champion of the 2025 edition of the festival.

Sharing his reaction, Grech said it had been “a big day” and an experience he never imagined possible. “To have a star with my name on it in a town on another continent, and to know I have made my mark in the history of Parkes, is something I could have only dreamed of,” he said.

He described the honour as deeply meaningful and said the moment would remain with him forever. Grech also expressed pride in representing his work on such a respected international stage and gratitude for the recognition he received.

“This moment will stay with me forever,” he said, thanking the Parkes Elvis Festival for the opportunity and the warm welcome he received.
