Maltese Diver Dominic Perrin Passes Away Unexpectedly

The diving community in Malta is in shock following the sudden passing of Dominic Perrin, a dedicated diver and passionate environmental advocate.

Coast is Clear, the organisation committed to cleaning Malta’s waters, described the loss as heartbreaking in Facebook post.

Just five days ago, Dominic joined fellow volunteers in St Julian’s Bay for what was described as one of their best clean-up days ever.

Known for his love of diving and commitment to protecting Malta’s marine environment, Dominic had been a regular participant in Coast is Clear’s coastal clean-up initiatives.

“Just five days ago he dove his last dive with us, cleaning up Malta’s coast,” the organisation shared in a heartfelt post, expressing condolences to his wife, Alison, and son, Nathaniel.

Coast is Clear concluded their tribute with a poignant farewell: “Thank you for your friendship. RIP, buddy.”

Dominic Perrin’s sudden loss is mourned deeply by his family, friends, the Maltese diving community and all who had the privilege to share the waters with him.
