Citizens are being urged to stay safe as Malta continues to be battered by strong winds, in turn riling up waves around the coasts and making it dangerous for those in the vicinity.
Photos shared by local weather pages show big waves hitting the local coasts and shores.
In such weather, people are advised not to park their car near the sea or under trees and walls which could give way due to strong winds.
Temperatures are also rather cold, set to feel between 11 and 16 degrees Celsius throughout the weekend.
