A beloved Maltese classic has been given a fresh new lease of life, with local artists Kelly Marie and Matthew James, teaming up to reimagine ‘Memories’ by Chasing Pandora, 18 years after the original was released.

The new version, titled ‘Memories — Kelly Marie ft. Matthew James’, is now available to watch on YouTube, with the pair giving the song a fresh, vibrant and summery sound while paying tribute to the original.

The track was co-produced by Kelly Marie, Matthew James and Shaun Vella, while mixing and mastering was handled by Luke Grech at Corner House Studios.

The collaboration brings together two local artists to revisit a song that has remained familiar to Maltese listeners, while introducing it to a new generation through a contemporary sound.

‘Memories’ is currently available on YouTube, with the new version set to reach Spotify and other major streaming platforms in the coming days.
