Maltese CEO Living With Cancer Raises Over €4,000 For L-istrina

Cheyenne Muscat raised over €4,000 for L-istrina while fighting her own battle with cancer!

Back in 2020, Cheyenne was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. She underwent surgery to remove her thyroid and began treatment to fight the disease.

Sadly, a year later, she was informed that the cancer had spread to her lungs. While her condition is currently stable, the cancer is still present.

Cheyenne opened up with MaltaDaily about how L-istrina supported her through one of the most challenging periods of her life.

Getting diagnosed with cancer was never easy to deal with,” she shared, “from being a child watching Istrina with my family and donating to help others, to needing help myself. L-istrina now means a lot more to me than just a day to collect money for those in need. Istrina for me is now my second family.”

Cheyenne is also the founder and CEO of e.lementi, a company specialising in graphic design, social media management, and photography.

For the past four years, she has organised ‘e.lementi għall-Istrina’, an initiative dedicated to raising funds for the charity.

This year, with the incredible support of her followers, she managed to raise €4,110, all of which will be donated directly to L-Istrina.

She explained that this initiative is her way of giving back to an organisation that stood by her during her darkest moments.

“Hence why I wanted to give back just a little from the many I received! Thank you all for being so generous! You have no idea how much this is going to help us.”
