Maltese Cadet Completes Intensive 3 Month US Coast Guard Training

Officer Cadet Aidan Dwight Mallia has successfully completed an intensive three month Officer Indoctrination School, the Armed Forces of Malta reported.
He did so with the United States Coast Guard at the US Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut.
‘This rigorous course provided advanced training in leadership, maritime command principles, search-and-rescue (SAR) planning, search patterns, navigation, shipboard procedures, and survival-at-sea operations.’
‘This achievement marks a significant milestone in his professional development as an officer within the Armed Forces of Malta’, explained the AFM.
