Two major pre-election surveys released ahead of Saturday’s general election are painting contrasting pictures of the race between the Labour Party and the Nationalist Party.

A poll published by Times of Malta and conducted by Esprimi indicates that Labour has strengthened its position throughout the campaign, with the party now projected to hold a lead of approximately 33,600 votes.

According to the survey, Labour stands at 53.5% support, while PN trails on 42.9%. The findings suggest Labour’s advantage has grown by around 14,000 votes since the start of the campaign period.

On the other hand, a separate survey released by MaltaToday points to a considerably smaller margin. Its projections place Labour ahead by roughly 18,000 votes, although statistical estimates and turnout scenarios could see the gap range from just over 12,600 votes to nearly 28,800.

The MaltaToday poll also highlights a sizeable block of undecided voters. Around 11.7% of respondents, equivalent to an estimated 41,500 people, said they had yet to make up their minds on who to back at the ballot box.
