A MaltaToday election survey puts Labour ahead by 17,386 votes, with the gap potentially ranging between 15,456 and 23,735 votes depending on different statistical scenarios. The survey is based on a sample of 1,408 respondents and carries a margin of error of ±2.6 points.

According to the same survey, Labour leads the PN by 6.3 percentage points after statistical imputation, widening from 2.6 points in March. It also estimates that around 16.6% of voters remain undecided, equivalent to roughly 59,000 voters, leaving room for potential shifts in the final outcome.

The survey also indicates that Labour leader Robert Abela holds a seven-point lead over PN leader Alex Borg on the trust barometer. Based on an estimated turnout of 77.3%, MaltaToday projects the vote gap to be around 17,400 votes, up significantly from earlier estimates in March.

Separately, a Times of Malta–commissioned Esprimi poll suggests a wider margin between the two major parties. It shows Labour on 52.9% of the vote, compared to the PN’s 44%, translating into an 8.9-point lead and a projected advantage of around 28,600 votes.

This poll is based on a sample of 600 respondents, with data collected between 6 and 13 May, covering the second and third weeks of the electoral campaign. It also indicates that smaller parties are set to receive 3.1% of the vote.

While both surveys confirm Labour’s lead, they differ in scale, with MaltaToday suggesting a narrower margin and Time of Malta projecting a more comfortable advantage for the governing party.
