MaltaPost Warn Against Fake Messages Asking For Address Details

MaltaPost have issued a statement warning people about an ongoing scam wherein fake messages impersonating the postal service company.
The fake message tells users that their parcel has arrived at their distribution centre but cannot be delivered due to missing address information.
They are then told that they can avoid additional charges by updating one’s address. ‘If you fail to update your address information in time, your parcel will be automatically returned and daily storage fees may apply.'
MaltaPost explained that official news and information updates are only found on facebook.com/maltapost, urging users to not click on the link provided in the fake message.
