Malta With Highest Employment Rate For Recent Graduates In EU 2025

In 2025, Malta registered the highest employment rate of young adults aged 20 to 34 who recently graduated in the EU at 91%.
This was well ahead of the EU average of 83%, concerning students who graduated from upper secondary or tertiary education levels.
Germany and The Netherlands followed in second and third at 90.6% and 90.1%. Meanwhile, Greece registered the lowest amount at 62.4%.
Italy and Romania followed at 71.8% and 72.7%.
