Malta With 2nd Highest Year-On-Year Growth In Tourism Nights In EU 2024

According to new data by Eurostat, Malta experienced the second highest year-on-year growth in tourism in 2024.
Malta registered a growth of 14.4%, falling just behind Cyprus at 14.5%, a mere 0.1% difference.
Meanwhile, Finland and France registered the highest decreases at 0.7% and 0.6% respectively.
Last year, the number of nights spent in tourist accommodation establishments across the EU increased by 2.7% when compared with 2023.
