Malta welcomed an estimated 417,000 visitors in October 2025, marking a 17% increase compared to the same month last year. Most came for holidays, while a smaller share visited for business purposes. Visitors were largely aged between 45 and 64, with significant numbers also in the 25-44 age group. British, Italian, and Polish tourists remained the largest nationalities.

Tourists spent a total of around 2.6 million nights on the islands, mostly in rented accommodations, with an average stay of six nights. Overall spending reached approximately €438 million, reflecting a 23% increase from October 2024, with visitors spending an average of €171 per night.

The islands of Gozo and Comino continued to draw attention, attracting more than 235,000 visitors, including both day-trippers and overnight guests, representing over half of all tourists.
