Malta Set For Another Week Of Intense Heat As Orange Warning Remains In Place

Malta is bracing for several more days of intense summer heat, with an orange weather warning currently in place until Wednesday, 12th August.
Today is particularly hot, with temperatures reaching a high of 36°C and feeling as hot as 40°C.
The heat will continue into Monday, when temperatures are forecast to climb to 37°C, with a feels-like temperature of 39°C.
Tuesday and Wednesday will remain similarly hot, with highs of 36°C and temperatures feeling close to 39°C during the hottest parts of the day.
Overnight temperatures will also remain high, with minimums ranging between 26°C and 27°C, offering little relief from the heat.
Winds are expected to remain light to moderate throughout the period, while UV levels will be extremely high, reaching 10 on Monday and Tuesday and 9 on Sunday and Wednesday.
With the orange warning in effect, residents are being urged to take extra care in the heat, particularly during the hottest hours of the day.
