Malta's youngest MP Gets Her Driving Licence

Malta’s youngest MP, Eve Borg Bonello, has added a driving licence to her list of recent achievements after successfully passing her driving test.

Borg Bonello’s driving instructor shared the news on social media, congratulating the MP on what was described as a particularly successful day.

“You smashed it girl!” the instructor wrote, revealing that Borg Bonello had passed both her driving test and an exam on the same day.

The instructor also reflected on their time together during the driving lessons, joking that she would miss their “debates and all the singing” which made the sessions more enjoyable.

The post ended with a playful reference to Borg Bonello’s political career, with the instructor recalling an agreement between the two.

“I know I might have to wait a few YEARS, but remember our agreement.. when you become Minister, I’m your personal driver!” the instructor joked.

The instructor wished Borg Bonello safe driving and “loads more success ahead” as she celebrates the new milestone alongside her political and academic achievements.
