Malta’s festival scene has just received a major international nod.

Higher Love Malta has officially been nominated for a prestigious overseas award celebrating Europe’s most unforgettable event experiences: and it’s a huge moment not just for the festival, but for the island’s growing reputation as a global dance destination.

The award category, “Wish You Were Here”, shines a spotlight on the nights that took crowds overseas and truly blew them away, celebrating European event experiences that delivered world-class music, energy and adventure. And Higher Love has proudly secured its place among them.

Set to take over the island between 29th April and 4th May 2026, Higher Love will once again unfold across Malta’s finest venues, transforming iconic spaces into a week-long celebration of cutting-edge house and minimal.

This year’s line-up already speaks volumes, featuring Josh Baker, Prospa, Ewan McVicar, Rossi., East End Dubs and Sosa, alongside a carefully curated mix of artists and brands set to deliver sunrise sessions, sunset moments and late-night dancefloor magic.

The winners will be announced on Thursday 30th April 2026 at the legendary Blackpool Tower Ballroom as part of a major 25th anniversary celebration, but before that, the power is in the hands of the voters AND YOU CAN VOTE HERE.

If Higher Love has ever given you a “wish you were here” moment, now’s the time to return it.
