Malta’s Biggest Music Festival To Hit MTV Screens This September 26th

Malta’s biggest free music festival is heading back to screens, with Isle of MTV set to air on MTV from 26th September.

This year marked a landmark edition for the festival, bringing another huge night of international and local music to Malta. Global superstar Katy Perry took centre stage as the night’s headline act, delivering a hit-packed performance to thousands of fans gathered at the Granaries in Floriana.

Joining Perry on the line-up was legendary Dutch DJ and producer Afrojack, who brought his signature high-energy electronic sound to the Isle of MTV stage. Flying the flag for Malta was pop star Aidan, Malta’s Eurovision 2026 representative, adding a major homegrown presence to the international bill.

The televised special will give audiences the chance to relive some of the biggest moments from this year’s event, while taking the sights and atmosphere of Isle of MTV Malta to viewers beyond the islands.

Isle of MTV Malta 2026 begins airing on MTV from 26th September.
