Malta Police Force Officially Marks 212 Years Of Service

The Malta Police Force is officially commemorating its 212th anniversary.

‘We are honoured to be part of the Malta Police family and to celebrate the incredible women and men who serve our community with unwavering dedication and commitment, ensuring our safety day in and day out’, the force stated.

‘A Holy Mass was held to celebrate this milestone at the Police General Headquarters, followed by a solemn wreath-laying ceremony on the Police Monument in front of the Police HQ, honouring our fallen colleagues who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.’

Minister for Home Affairs Glenn Bedingfield attended the ceremony, commending the officers for their discipline and dedication, and wishing them the best for the rest of their careers. Nationalist Party leader Alex Borg also attended the ceremony.
