Malta Leads EU In Tourism Growth For First Half Of 2025

According to Eurostat, Malta recorded the highest increase in overnight stays in tourist accommodations across the European Union during the first six months of 2025.
The island saw a 12.7% rise compared with the same period in 2024, well above the EU average increase of 2.3%.
Other countries with notable growth include Latvia (+8.6%) and Poland (+8.5%), while Ireland was the only EU country to experience a decline (-3.5%).
