According to information published by Eurostat, Malta had the lowest amount of overnight stays in tourist accommodations during the two busiest months, which are August and July.
Malta registered 21.9% of stays in August and July in 2025, compared to the EU average pf 31.1%.
Croatia registered the highest share at 54.5%, followed by Bulgaria and Greece at 43.4% and 41.6%. Malta was followed by German and Finland at 24.0% and 24.1% respectively.
