Malta Gains Global exposure Through VisitMalta-Manchester United Patrnership

The Malta Tourism Authority (MTA), through its VisitMalta brand, has announced the continuation of its successful partnership with Manchester United through another edition of the “Malta Day” promotional campaign.
The initiative once again aims to boost international awareness of Malta by tapping into the global reach and loyal fanbase of one of football’s most iconic clubs.
This year’s campaign coincides with the highly anticipated Manchester United vs Manchester City match at Old Trafford, offering a prime platform to showcase Malta to a large and diverse audience.
VisitMalta branding will feature prominently inside the stadium, including pitch-side banners, perimeter advertising and digital displays, reaching a match-day crowd of around 75,000 supporters and millions more through global broadcast coverage.
Fans will also be able to interact directly with the campaign through QR codes linking to the VisitMalta website, with the chance to win a trip to the Maltese Islands. Inside hospitality suites, guests will experience Maltese cuisine prepared by a local chef in collaboration with Manchester United’s executive head chef.
The campaign extends across Manchester through large digital screens near Old Trafford, the city centre and major motorways, generating millions of impressions. This multi-channel approach reinforces Malta’s position as a leading international travel destination.
