Malta Featured on Popular Football Channel 'Footy Adventures'

Malta’s football scene has recently featured on popular Youtube channel ‘Footy Adventures,” a space dedicated to immersing viewers into football all around the world.

“Welcome to the country with no home stadiums,” Sam stated, opening the video, “all of the countries play away or in neutral spaces.”

“This history, the friendliness of the people, and the football have made this an unforgettable trip.”

Some Maltese football fans chimed in to share that Hamrun and Hibs do in fact have their own stadium, but most games are still played on neutral ground.

Sam watched some derby football games, impressed by the low prices of the ticket, and spoke with some locals about the sport’s scene on our island.

The video garnered over 20,000 views in one week, with the Chanel having a total of 233,000 subscribers.
