Local

Malta Daily’s Big Picnic Party is back TOMORROW, SATURDAY 10TH OCTOBER, bringing another day of music, community, wellness and outdoor fun to the National Park in Ta’ Qali! 🌳☀️

Following the success of its debut season last winter, the event returns with an even bigger programme as part of the NITKELLEM Festival, an initiative led by Dr Lydia Abela together with the Government of Malta, focusing on mental health, wellbeing and quality of life.

This year’s edition brings together movement, relaxation, music and entertainment, offering something for everyone throughout the day.

🏃 8:15AM – 11:00AM | MORNING WELLNESS ACTIVITIES

The day kicks off with a series of wellness activities, including 5K runs or walks and 10K runs organised in collaboration with Sunday Run Club, yoga with Sasha Vella, Pilates with Soma Studios and a breathwork session with Neil Agius.

🎉 11:00AM – 6:30PM | MALTA DAILY’S BIG PICNIC PARTY

After the morning sessions, Malta Daily’s Big Picnic Party takes centre stage, bringing back the relaxed, feel-good atmosphere that made the event a favourite among attendees.

Expect music throughout the day, food and drink stalls, plenty of space to chill, dance and picnic, and a huge dedicated children’s play area, completely FREE for families to enjoy!

🧸 FREE KIDS’ PLAY AREA

The children’s area will be packed with activities, including Table Soccer, Giant Jenga, Bean Bag Toss, Giant Connect 4, Arcade Basketball, Inflatable Axe Throwing, Bouncy Castles, a Trampoline, Stilt Walkers, Face Painting and Balloon Modelling.

Whether you’re coming with friends, family or the little ones, the plan is simple: grab your picnic blanket, head to Ta’ Qali and enjoy a full day outdoors.

💚 FREE ENTRY FOR EVERYONE!

Malta Daily’s Big Picnic Party and the entire children’s play area are completely free to attend, with no registration required.

Only the morning wellness activities require registration through lydiabela.com, with a small donation supporting mental health initiatives, particularly those focused on adolescents.

With music, movement, family activities and plenty of space to switch off, there’s something for everyone this Saturday at Ta’ Qali.

See you TOMORROW! 🌳☀️
