Malta Committed To Keeping Gaming Industry Stable And Competitive, PM Says

Prime Minister Robert Abela has reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to ensuring Malta’s gaming industry remains stable, competitive and innovative amid growing international uncertainty and competition.

Speaking during a meeting with leaders from the Maltese gaming sector, Dr Abela highlighted the industry’s contribution to economic growth and quality employment, as well as Malta’s reputation as a leading digital economy.

The Prime Minister stressed that stability and predictability remain some of the country’s greatest strengths in the face of rapid technological advancements and rising global competition.

Dr Abela said that strong institutions, clear policies, and continuous dialogue between government and regulators was key to remaining industry leaders and attracting new investments to the gaming sector.

Describing gaming as one of Malta’s greatest economic success stories, Dr Abela praised the leadership of GamingMalta and the Malta Gaming Authority for strengthening Malta’s international reputation in the industry.
