Malta Again With Lowest Unemployment Rate In September 2025

According to new data released by Eurostat, Malta, along with Czechia, registered the lowest unemployment rates in the EU in September 2025.
Malta’s unemployment rate rose slightly over the past three months, having been 2.8% in July of the same year. However, this was a drop from 3.0 in June of 2025.
In terms of under 25s, unemployment in Malta impacted 10%, making it also among the lowest.
More men were unemployed in Malta in September 2025 than women, with the former registered a 3.1% rate and the latter a 2.8% rate.
