According to data issued by Eurostat, Malta had the lowest unemployment rate of people aged 25 to 74 with low educational attainment.
Malta registered a rate of 3.2% unemployment for this cohort, way below the 10.5% average of the EU in 2025.
Malta was followed by the Netherlands and Cyprus at 3.4% and 4.8%, whereas the highest unemployment rate for those with low educational attainment was registered in Slovakia at 38.8%.
