Majority Think A Bridge Should Be Built Between Malta & Gozo

Asking our followers on social media, a majority agreed with a bridge being built between Malta and Gozo.

We asked our followers on Facebook, with over 3,900 responding with yes, whilst over 1,600 responded with no. Meanwhile, over 1,900 responded with a thumbs up reaction, which might indicate support for the undertaking of such a project.

Meanwhile, 69%, or about 3,800, of Instagram story respondents voted for yes, whereas 31%, or just over 1,600 responded with a no on the bridge.

This follows Gozo recently being cut off due to Storm Harry as the the Gozo Ferry could not operate due to the dangerous weather conditions.

The Gozo Business Chamber also issued a statement, urging for a permanent link between the two islands following the intense storm.
