Majority Of Maltese Prefer Texting Over Calling

According to a question posed by Malta Daily, the majority prefer receiving and/or sending text messages over calling and/or receiving a call.

54% voted for text messages, whereas 46% picked calling.

A 2024 YouGov survey across 17 international markets found that 40% of people said text messages were the most preferred, whereas 29% said phone calls were preferred.

There are also apparent age differences, with youth preferring texting whereas older generations seem to prefer calling.

Now the big question is: what do you think about voice messages?
