Lydia Abela Shares 6th Edition of 'Rigal bi Mħabba'

Lydia Abela, wife of Prime Minister Robert Abela, has shared the sixth edition of ‘Rigal bi Mħabba,’ an initiative centred around getting presents to children who otherwise would have gone without.

Presents can be left underneath the Christmas tree in Castille Square between the 12th and 19th of December.

Dr Lydia Abela explained how this initiative was born from a dream between her and her daughter, Giorgia-Mae.

“Our dream is a simple yet significant one, that every boy and girl have a present underneath the Christmas tree and no one feels forgotten,” said Lydia.

In a post to her Instagram, Lydia shared a sweet video of the event, stating that “Rigal bi Mħabba keeps growing because our nation’s kindness and solidarity knows no boundaries.”
