Lydia Abela has taken to social media to pay tribute to Jonathan Cardona, Enemalta’s former CEO who passed away yesterday.
A friend of the Abela’s, both the Prime Minister and his wife are mourning his loss, celebrating “his strong character.”
Lydia Abela shared a photo from 2022, but stated that Jonathan had “always been there, a strong shoulder to lean on, a person we could always rely on.”
Prime Minister Robert Abela was informed of Cardona’s death yesterday during the swearing in of the new cabinet of ministers.
Lydia extended her condolences to his family, friends, and anyone feeling this deep loss.
