Love Island Malta Officially Gets 3 More Seasons!

Media Exclusive Ltd. has officially renewed its agreement with ITV Studios, securing the rights to produce the next three seasons of Love Island Malta.

This comes after the remarkable success of the show’s first three seasons, which captivated Maltese audiences and became one of the most-watched television series in the country.

Since its debut, Love Island Malta, produced locally by Media Exclusive, has become a cultural phenomenon.

The series consistently topped viewership charts, achieved record-breaking audience figures, and built a passionate fanbase both on-screen and online.

Martijn Plaizier, Content Brand Partnerships Manager at ITV Studios, said Media Exclusive has set a benchmark for producing a version of Love Island that truly resonates with local viewers.

Chris Gravina, Co-Founder of Media Exclusive, expressed excitement at continuing the partnership, noting the quality of the production and the engagement of Maltese audiences.

Ben Camille, Co-Founder, highlighted how the show has created opportunities for local talent, citing a Maltese contestant who recently appeared on Love Island Games in the United States, a first for the country.

ITV Studios is a global creator, producer and distributor of popular programmes. It operates in 13 countries and produces around 7,500 hours of original content each year.

With this renewal, Love Island Malta is set to remain one of the country’s most popular and internationally recognised television formats.
