Loggerhead Turtle Spotted At Balluta Bay, St Julian’s

The Environment and Resources Authority (ERA) shared a video of a loggerhead turtle which was recently spotted at Balluta Bay, St Julian’s.

Thanking the persons who submitted the report, ERA said this helps them and Nature Trust Malta to monitor and protect the animals.

‘We kindly remind everyone that, when encountering sea turtles, it is important to keep a safe distance and minimise noise to avoid disturbing them. Otherwise, your actions may cause it to retreat into the sea without laying its eggs.’
